Why is bill maher friends with ann coulter

And it's the first in a series of Chicago appearances by well-known names from the nexus of politics, media and entertainment.

The bills in New York and Boston are slightly different. So the series is new to Chicago. There's nothing unusual, of course, about out-of-office politicians, media pundits and political operatives parlaying their fame into lucrative speaking engagements. Gore reportedly commands a six-figure fee for a one-night event such as this one. So if you extrapolate those figures and make some reasonable assumptions, it's likely that all of the speakers in the series are taking home comparable paychecks here.

Last weekend Maher made another excellent point about director Lin-Manuel Miranda. To be clear, Maher gets it wrong plenty of times, from Russiagate to his criticism of Sen. Joe Manchin, who is apparently the only Democrat in the Senate who believes bipartisanship should be more than a talking point. But looking at the big picture, I have concluded that Bill Maher is the only person who can save the left from itself.
